I know this is super cliche BUT I also think it's super true. My mum used to tell me this; you have to love yourself before you will let others love you the way you deserve to me loved. I never took it seriously, tbh I thought it sounded pretty stupid. But it's soooo true. When you finally find love for yourself you stop accepting anything less than what you deserve!

Hello everyone, it's been a while🌼 If you do not know, I've been battling some #health issues that, over the last three months, have really taken a toll on my #lifestyle. I haven't worked out since July and have been undergoing multiple tests to find out what is wrong with me. In January of this year I blacked out and fainted, and have felt lightheaded almost daily since June which has progressed to daily, multiple pressure headaches. I almost blacked out again at the gym in July and finally decided to see a specialist and get to the bottom of things. Since then I've been diagnosed with #dysautonomia (which is an umbrella term for an autonomic nervous system disorder), #syncope (which is the medical term for fainting), and #orthostatichypotension (which is low blood pressure upon changes in gravity, i.e. standing). The problem is we haven't figured out how and why this is happening and I am continuing to get tested to find out the cause. This Friday I have an #echocardiogram of my #heart to see if it it is healthy. If my echo is fine I will move on to see a neurologist to see if it is a central nervous system disorder causing my issues. My cardiologist recommended I do #yoga as it helps with circulation and is a low impact form of #exercise. My body has been craving #movement and I want to start posting consistently to this account again to not only hold myself accountable to daily exercise, but to prove to myself that I will not let this disorder rule my #life. It is negatively affecting me in all areas and I refuse to become a prisoner of it. I will get my diet back in check because I truly believe food is medicine (and I have been using my condition as an excuse to be lazy and eat junk), and I will practice yoga daily to restrengthen my #muscles and improve my blood #circulation. #ThankYou to everyone who has stuck with me and I hope I can continue to #inspire you to lead a #healthy life as you follow me on my #journey to do the same🌸 __ #nutrition #wellness #healthylife #healthylifestyle #foodismedicine #healing #positivity #strength #preserverance #motivation #motivationmonday
