So happy with making the switch to a powerlifting and strongman gym! I still do bodybuilding movements but incorporating powerlifting and strongman lifts like stone lifting when I've never done those types of movements before kicks my ass and I love it! ⚡️UPPER BODY SUPERSETS⚡️ ➖ 🔥Supersets are a very valuable tool when used properly. They save you time without really sacrificing performance. While straight sets certainly have their place and I definitely use them, I almost always include some sort of superset in my workouts. ➖ ✅The key is to pick two exercises that work opposing muscle groups. This way even though you’re exerting yourself, you’re not taxing the same muscle groups with both exercises. ➖ 👍This video is one example of how I might use one on an upper body day. The first exercise is a DB Floor Press (an upper body “push” movement) and the second is a seated Spud Inc Cable Row (an upper body “pull” movement). ➖ 🚨Many options exist. Below are some simple examples of how to use them.
