A little aggressive to do a 13 mile run before work this morning, but I did it and still pulled a full day in the office and just finished working on orders for hollywoodscouture. Is it next to impossible to get dinner on the table some nights? Do you rely on frozen pizzas and take out just to get by? I understand you, mama. Some nights just keeping the family alive is all that matters! But are you wishing you could get out of that super-stressed mode and just sit down to a home-cooked meal with your family? The tip that really turned things around for me was this: It’s okay to take shortcuts! Make the same meal two or three times a week if everyone will eat it (or better yet, make it once and serve leftovers). Leave out a fancy ingredient. Swap veggies for ones your kids might actually eat! Being flexible about dinner time will not only save you time, but you’ll spend less mental energy on dinner!
