When I transferred to UAlbany and they wouldn’t even let me try out for the football team after telling me they would let me if I transferred there, I was devastated. But it turns out that it was a blessing because it made me train the hardest and it made me transfer to UB which is D1 FBS...the highest level of college football. UB helped me unleash hidden potential and for that I am thankful. Now I am on my own. Relaxing or about to die?! You could say it's a bit of both. German volume training is honestly nothing to bat an eye at. GVT is not my usual style of training but it provides a much needed benefit to my workouts to change it up and challenge my body. If you thought leg day was hard enough not It's just ridiculous. I'm a hard gainer through and through. Think you could do it? . 🤾‍♂️Incorporating more explosive movements into your workout can be great if you play an explosive sports like rugby or GAA or simply want to increase your bench press and are struggling. . 🤸‍♂️Several studies have shown the benefits of combining strength and plyometric training to achieve maximal strength gains (Adams et al,1992, Faigenbaum et al 2007) this is a more advanced workout so only perform if you are familiar with the movements. . 🏋️‍♂️Perform the explosive exercises first after your warm up to avoid fatigue that will limit power. Allow 90s rest between sets of med ball throws and plyo push ups. Allow 2-3 minutes rest between sets for the bench and incline press.
