This is such an important message. I spent years hating myself and my body because I believed I was a failure. In truth, I was a victim. I was being abused on all sides because I didn’t have the same body type as the other young girls in my family or in my classrooms. Instead of being encouraged to love and appreciate what my body could do, I was told I would never be good enough, never be loved, never be a success if I couldn’t be thin. That trauma (amongst other forms of abuse) drove me to an eating disorder that it took me over 30 years to recover from. I will ALWAYS have to be actively in recovery because of my trauma. I am doing my best to let my trauma be in my past - but I talk about it because I want to help other girls and women understand that they are good enough and worthy exactly as they are. Whether they are fat, thin, have a disability, live with a long term chronic illness or pain... no matter what - YOU ARE ENOUGH! You are worthy of love. My current fitness obsession looks like a coaster and can fit in my purse. Meaning... I can do glider exercises pretty much anywhere! 🤗 Glider workouts are low impact and improve stability. All of the muscles in your legs and core must synchronize to keep you from toppling over :) ✨ Here’s the deets on the workout 3-4 Rounds (20 secs rest between exercises/45 secs rest between rounds) 1️⃣Glide Outs x15 2️⃣ Mountain Climbers x 30secs 3️⃣Arm Circles x15 per side 4️⃣ Reverse Lunges x15 per side 5️⃣ Leg Circles x 15 per side 6️⃣ Knee Tucks x20 .
