Spend an ignorant amount of time trying to properly photograph these for you all but the point is- they taste like a chocolate truffle which the ingredients of a (healthy) granola bar. I didn’t take measurements but the ingredients are as follows 👉🏼👉🏼👉🏼~1.5 cups soaked dates (no need to soak them if they’re juicy boys) Almond butter Oat flour Oats Cacao powder ~T maple syrup Hemp hearts Pink himalayan salt And a touch of water to get it to the right consistancy 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 I powdered mine with cacao powder, which is optional and for if you’re feeling extra. I’m storing them in the freezer which is also optional but highly recommended for a bomb chewy texture. 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

Happy first day of Autumn!! 🍁🍂 it’s finallyyy here! 👻 To celebrate, I wanted to share a healthy festive treat that I made last weekend (& will prob make again this weekend😉) a Healthy Chocolate Pumpkin Pudding Bowl! 😋 🎃It’s literally as easy as mixing in your favorite protein powder with pure pumpkin & topping however you’d like! 🎃I wanted mine to be dairy-free 🚫no whey), 🚫no soy, 🚫no artificial sweeteners, & have some great texture of course! The protein I used was pescience Vegan Chocolate Bliss 🍫 (would love any vegan protein recommendations you may have!) 👉🏽Macros: 142 Cal /C20 /F2 / P11 🎃Your macros will vary depending on the brands & toppings you use, but for portion size reference I used... 🔸120g Pure Pumpkin (not pie filling!!) 🔸15g pescience Vegan Chocolate Protein 🔸5g arrowheadmills Puffed Kamut (not all pictured, mixed in the rest after 📸) 🔸5g sprouts Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips 🔸Also seasoned w/ flavorgod Pumpkin Pie Spice & some Cinnamon (it was not v sweet, so feel free to add stevia or something!) 🎃❗️UPGRADE❗️🎃I kept this low in fat bc it was a lil post-workout snack, but to upgrade this into a meal for any time, I’d double the serving size of pumpkin & protein, & add in more dope toppings for healthy fats! Liiikeeee shaved almonds, some sort of nut butter... mmmm! 🤤 Stay tunes for a meal size bowl with all the upgrades coming soon! 😜

Go into your weekend with this healthy snack hack ! 😁 🍌 Ok full disclosure: I have a sweet tooth (if you haven’t already surmised) . And I’m team #everythinginmoderation. So I’m always on the hunt for sweet snacks that are also healthy, to minimize the damage 😆 🍌 This dark chocolate dipped banana is a perfect frozen treat because : -it’s a real banana half! -the dark chocolate coats the outside of the banana, so it’s not *that* much -the dark chocolate is dairy free -it’s only 140 calories -the snack is filling and I dont need more than 1 🍌 I found it in the freezer aisle at many different grocery stores. I bet there’s a homemade recipe somewhere out there too 🤔 🍌 What’s your favorite healthy snack hack ??

Alrighty, I’m going to do you a solid and share the recipe for these *Flourless Peanut Butter Bars* even though I don’t have it up on the blog yet. Cause instant gratification is better than waiting, right? — These bars are super fudgy and dense with peanut butter-y flavor. Inspired by my favorite dessert when I used to work for this organic catering company, they are...dare I say... better?? At least for my personal taste 🤗 I made them with almond/coconut flour so they are grain free and coconut sugar so they are refined sugar-free. Now that’s my type of dessert 😉 Here’s how you can make these bars 👇🏽 &Remember to save this one if you’re a #nutbutteraddict like me🙋🏽‍♀️ — 1.5 cups natural peanut butter (creamy or crunchy, i used wild_friends classic pb!) 3/4 cup coconut sugar 1/2 cup coconut oil 1.5 cups almond flour 1/2 cup coconut flour 1 tsp baking powder 3/4 cup unsalted peanuts, chopped — 1. Preheat oven to 350F and line a 8x8 pan with parchment paper 2. Combine peanut butter and coconut sugar with a hand mixer in a large mixing bowl until well combined. 3. Add the coconut oil, almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, and 1/2 cup of the chopped peanuts and stir until combined. 4. Pour mixture into the baking pan and top with the extra 1/4 cup of chopped peanuts. 5. Cook for 25-30 minutes, until top is browned and edges are crispy. 6. This is the hardest step — you *need* to let these guys cool completely before cutting or they will fall apart! Once cut, store in an airtight container in the fridge. They will solidify more once the bars are refrigerated. — I made these on Monday and they are now gone. Expect to finish these off in two days 😋
