The very first picture I ever took and this morning. . I never realized how much weight I had gained. I had a baby-about 3 months before this before was taken...that “baby” weight decided to hang on. That’s when I decided it was time to start! . I used to be disgusted by that first picture...but I’m not anymore. I am so fucking proud of that picture. That girl decided to change her life. She decided to take her life into her own hands. . I started with eating healthy and working out-and lost about 20lbs...but it wasn’t quite working for me... . Then I found keto!! A year and a half (almost) ago I started keto. It was backwards of everything I thought was right-but then I learned that everything I was taught-WAS WRONG!! Especially for my body chemistry! . Remember-not everything works for everyone! Find what works for you and what makes you feel best-and do that!!

Congratulations to one of my clients, Donieal Louise ( lattesay) who has done excellent on her workouts & has really dialed in her eating and her rest and recovery. She is eating in a Keto/Carnivore way🥩🥩🥩This is from April to October 2018. I train her once per week for less than 15 minutes per session of HIT(High Intensity Training/Evidence Based Training). No direct Ab work. She does Yoga 🧘‍♀️ too. WTG 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💪🏻💪🏻 Trust the method because it always works when you get the proper workout, the proper eating & the proper rest and recovery. Eggs in Purgatory 🍳 After seeing Stacy ( ketoincourt) make this dish over and over on her feed, I finally gave into temptation and made a version of my own. With a name like Eggs in Purgatory though, I really wanted to highlight the spicy nature of this dish. Enter ‘Nduja. . ‘Nduja (it’s doo-yah) is a spicy, spreadable pork salumi from Italy, similar to chorizo, but already cured. It adds a bold and spicy flavor to the sauce that’s unmistakable. I found a Prosciutto version by laquercia at my local H-E-B Central Market. . I combined the sausage with raoshomemade marinara in a hot cast iron pan to create a simple ragú sauce. After warming the sauce through I created a few divots with a wooden spoon and cracked several eggs into each one. I then covered the pan for 2-3 minutes to allow the eggs to cook to a slightly runny consistency. That’s it! I garnished the top with red chili flakes, Italian parsley and a handful of Parmigiano-Reggiano. An especially great dish to keep you warm on a cold day like today (well everyone but Florida is shivering).

If anyone is ever surprised by what I eat, I just can’t help you. I find something I love and just hit repeat. One of the reasons I like this dish so much is because it is so versatile. Dinner tonight is the same thing, but probably chorizo instead of bacon. Find what you love and you’ll never get bored of repeat meals. #jerf
