There are times when running off to a monastery sounds really appealing! Especially if that monastery brews beers as well as Chimay! The Bottlecap of the Day comes from Chimay Brewery, located in Scourmont Abbey in Chimay, Belgium (IG chimayusa bieresdechimay). You may not have the wherewithal to join a monastery, but let one provide you a great beer! #stodprodcotd

This is a rythm of African women! This dance is inspired by Yossou Ndour's dancers at the Grand Bal 2017 in Dakar, the musician Titi was also inspired and encouraged by Yossou Ndour to quit dancing and join his band then she went on to become an independent musician. Dancing is a spiritual revitalization and release - Griot #yossoundour #africa #black #africanwoman #titi #music #musica #dance #griot #tataseculture #soul #jazz #art #mbalax #spiritual #journey #travel #world #culture #culturevulture #senegal #dakar #desert #nomad #metallic #release #logophile #vibration #energy #vivaafrica

🔊 TURN ON SOUND 🔊 Footsteps in dew scatter diamond drops beneath my feet, Bare legs brush tender shoots, shiveringly sweet, Chill air swirls carry warm summer smells, Spice and salt, sunscreen and smoke, Anticipation of adventure. Naked feet carry me through a flow of memories, Cool dappled light burning through fog follows sinuous snake of the river, At the foot of wooded slopes green water swirls and eddies, Momentary pause, a distraction from its course, Like me, The river cannot fight the pull of the sea. ©ceri_mai_writer . . 🌱📝🔊Another experiment in poetry reading - I hope you like it! 🙏 This poem is inspired by one of my favourite places in the world, a cliff face of warm red sandstone called High Rock⛰, which overlooks the River Severn as it snakes through my hometown of Bridgnorth in Shropshire. I used to walk up there regularly, through steep wooded slopes that are carpeted with bluebells in spring, seeking peace and inspiration for fresh adventures. 🌍✈️ . . #poetry #poem #instapoet #spokenwordpoetry #poetsofinstagram #poet #poetrycommunity #poetslife #poetrylove #poetryisnotdead #writer #writersofinstagram #writingcommunity #writerslife #inspiration #logophile #l4l #creativecommunity #wordporn #spilledink #wordsmith #travelinspiration #artlixirspoken #positivity #bridgnorth #shropshire #riversevern #untwineme #travelmemories #britishaccent

Today I drew Origin and Intuition. 🔮 What is the source of your intuition? Who are your guides? In what way do you receive messages? 🌙 So many people are walking around numb to their intuition. You have one. Trust me. I want to see you start using it. What do we have to do to get you reacquainted? How do we get you back to your intuition wellspring? ✨ If these questions pull at your heart, let’s talk. Let’s develop your intuition. Let’s expand your spiritual limbs. Let’s get you plugged back in to Source.

“Family did things like that, made sacrifices when it wasn’t the first choice they wished to make. And now Andi knew that the Marauders were more than just a crew of skilled space pirates. They were family. She was theirs, and they were hers.” - Zenith by Sasha Alsberg and Lindsay Cummings • Q: favorite kick-butt heroine? • I can’t believe I finally have Zenith in my hands!!! I’ve been following Sasha and Lindsay’s journey writing this book since they announced it, and I’m so excited for them!!! And this review isn’t biased at all. Just because I love the authors, that doesn’t mean I find this book to be perfect! But it was an amazing book! I’ll have a full review up on my blog as soon as I get my laptop fixed. • Anyways, Zenith is the first book in The Androma Saga, a new sci-fi duology! I rated it 4.25/5 stars on goodreads!! I don’t read sci-fi much, but I LOVED Zenith! This book is all about a group of badass female space pirates, an evil queen, and a mission through this super cool galaxy. The beginning of the book was just ok, but as the story went on, I became completely invested in the storyline and characters!! The best part was definitely the last 100 pages or so. THAT ENDING KILLED ME. But I was on the edge of my seat from about the middle of the book onward!! It was so action-packed the entire time!! The characters were AMAZING. I LOVED the friendships between the Marauders!!!! Definitely one of my new favorite book squads! I didn’t really connect to the main character, Andi, until later in the book, which was one of those not-so-good things. My favorite was Lira for some reason - her story was so interesting to me! One thing I loved was that ALL the characters were very grey. I even found myself sympathizing with the antagonist! And the book was told from so many characters’ perspectives, and that added a LOT to the story!! There were a few things that bothered me about the writing. But there were still so many beautiful quotes and incredible plot twists that had me gasping and squealing!! I also loved the world - a whole new galaxy with beautiful planets! • Overall, I LOVED this book!! You’d better check it out!!
