Book 4 of 2018 ✅ “Still Me” by Jojo Moyes: devoured this during my social media free week. It’s the third book in her “Me Before You” series and it didn’t disappoint. Chick lit with great characters is one of my favourite things. The social media detox was interesting. My mind was definitely quieter and I’m hoping now that I’m going to be better at using it positively, rather than just scrolling mindlessly! #bookish #selfcare

HOW LOW CAN YOU GO Check that depth though, gotta get full range for the rep to count! How do you cardio?..... There are so many more ways to move more, increase your heart rate and improve cardiovascular fitness than pounding a pavement or treadmill, mindless moving on the exercise bike or crosstrainer scoping the gym and watching others who are actually totally engrossed in what they are doing! I could not dream of a less enjoyable way to spend my time and wouldn't dream of spending my time doing something I don't enjoy! But I have to be realistic and I definitely need to move more so metcon style session yesterday with a mountain of more functional movements for alternative "cardio". Remember your granny used to say there's more than one way to skin a cat well when it comes to activity, exercise and moving more regardles of the goal think just that! Massive key to long term motivation is not motivation itself but simply finding something sustainable. I am asked over and over how I am motivated to do what I do all the time and it's simply because I love it! Honestly one of the biggest keys to long term lifestyle change rather than phases of activity followed by inactivity on a loop is. . . . Have you ever had just nothing to say? Like completely introvert, and not that you don’t want to talk, but your mind is completely empty and void of anything. This is my struggle lately! I just have nothing. I talk about mental health so frequently because it is a real struggle that if you don’t deal with, guaranteed you are close to someone who does. I am breaking out I am busting free! I got a solid workout in considering I’m sick as shit and still in my boot! Today is going to be a good day! #fuckyouanxiety
