Since I can't really work out right now, I have been focusing on trying to eat/make healthy meals (hasn't been too hard.. I seem to crave big salads during pregnancy 😋). If you don't have an instant pot you seriously need to run and get one. This probably should have taken an hour or more to make, but only took about 15 minutes. Talk about healthy made easy👐 Last nights dinner/this mornings breakfast: chicken burrito bowls on top of lettuce 😍

I am always so pleasantly surprised with how quickly I receive my orders from #gymshark ! I have been super tired this week...going to bed super late & waking up really early #momlife & the little voice in my head was trying to convince me to stay home & not go to the gym. Dynamic lower... speed work! Mmmmm deadlifts were wayyyyy speedier than squats.... go figure. A truth about myself & FYI this ALWAYS takes courage to tell. • Since I was small I’ve struggled through body image issues & honestly? Even more so now after having a child. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE being a mom & everything about it. Over the years I’ve worked on trying to get the PERFECT body or at least what’s perfect in MY eyes. I’m STILL never happy w/ it but I’m farrrr from where I used to be and I’m proud of it. After struggling to keep myself to where I am now, and still working for a better self, I’m a bit more CONFIDENT. And I feel great. Lifting heavy is therapy for me & it’s fun! I love it. It deals a lot with your mental game & keeping that mind focused to lift that weight. Makes working out & lifting a lot more enjoyable & of course, rewarding! That’s where “HEAD FIRST, ALWAYS.” comes into play to me. Reminds me of the term my old coach once told me & I’ve always followed... “MIND STRONG.
