Definitely not the smoothest set, but getting there (my third set of doubles earlier in the week). I feel like I could have squeezed out one more with a spot! If you’re starting to stall or plateau on your goals- don’t worry! There are a few things you can do to break through. 1. Increase your calories. Yup, you heard me! The more active you are, the more fuel you may need! Make it a point to eat a bit more (healthy, nutrient dense food) and see what happens. This applies to weight loss and strength gain goals. Eat up 🥗🍠🥦🥑2. Shake up your routine. Have you been doing the same exact thing for weeks on end? Shake it up! I recommend changing your routine every 4-6 weeks. That gives your body enough time to progress, but not enough to get bored. 3. Take a de-load week. You may have hit a wall because you are just burned out 🤕 Take a week of active recovery (walking, reducing intensity by half) to let your body recharge. Australian Push Ups (or inverted rows) to finish off back day 💥 These are similar to TRX High Rows. Get a (sturdy) bar and position yourself below it so your sternum is directly underneath. Pull your chest up to the bar (while engaging your core to keep your body in a nice straight line). You should feel your shoulder blades pull together. Extend your arms again to lower your body to the starting position. This exercise focuses on your traps, rhomboids, and rear delts. Get to the gym and get rowing 🛶 . ididitformyself challenged me to post 5 non-fitness related facts about myself, which I love for 2 reasons. ☝🏼 Fitness is not life. I know it’s hard to believe that when you look at a fitness influencer’s IG, but trust me, we have other things going on in our life too! And ✌🏼I am curled up in bed with an injury and literally can’t “fitness” for another week or two 😂. 1️⃣ My pup, Zoe, is my babygirl. I post about her at least once a day on my story. She’s a boxer/pit bull mix and Dan (my boyfriend) and I are IN LOVE with her. We totally treat her like our first born child 💁🏼 2️⃣ I just turn 21, but I would definitely say I’m “mature” for my age. I move out of my parents house last summer, I just purchased a car, I have a career, and Dan and I are building a life together. I’m so blessed to have the support of my family and friends in all of this. 3️⃣ I’d prob kill for a good slice of cheesecake 🍰 ir pizza 🍕4️⃣ Speaking of food, I eat mostly plant based (yup, pretty much vegan). My body feels better when I do. 5️⃣I don’t watch much TV, unless I’m watching a series in Netflix. I’m currently watching How To Get Away With Murder, so the only TV I watch is a few episodes of that a week. 🔥 And that’s that!
