(Continuation of prior post) ☁️I seemed to ease into relaxation in the darkness faster on my second float, probably because I had not allowed weeks to pass between floats, so it wasn't as foreign to me. This evening, after working through fear and excess energy to find stillness, I finally returned to the point of relaxation, enjoyment, and reflection that I found in my second float once I find it, I could stay in the tank for hours. No fear, no desire to leap out, and, as I mentioned in another post, I become completely comfortable in the dark over time and regain ability to find a way out if I were to want to. I floated and thought about the many correlations between lessons learned on overcoming (fear, the unknown, etc.) in the tank, as in life. If you can muster enough courage to trust, to find peace in the moment, peace in stillness, peace with no concept of time, there is much to enjoy that you could not have previously fathomed.
