🦋One of my main flare prompts is no sleep. I go through weeks of no sleep and it sends me in a pain and fatigue flare so severe I just have to sit in my recliner . I fight to walk during the day to get my body out of the cycle . 💜What are Fibromyalgia Flare-Ups? 🦋💜🦋💜🦋💜 Fibromyalgia symptoms often get better or worse on a daily basis. However, when symptoms become worse for several consecutive days or even weeks, it can be considered a flare-up. Flare-ups affect everybody differently. Some of the most common symptoms are: 🦋💜🦋💜🦋💜🦋 ▶️Worsening of pain and stiffness ▶️Increased fatigue ▶️Sleep disturbances Increased “fibro-fog” – difficulty concentrating, thinking straight or remembering things ▶️Increased sensitivity to hot and cold ▶️Tingling or burning sensations ▶️Dizziness, clumsiness or poor balance ▶️Nausea ▶️Anxiety 💜🦋💜🦋💜 If you have fibromyalgia, it is a good idea to keep a diary. Note down any changes in symptoms and look at what you have done in the past few days. Over time you may see a pattern emerging which should point you towards your triggers. A number of different things can trigger flare-ups, and these vary from person to person. It can take a couple of days between the trigger and the flare-up, making it difficult to identify the exact cause. 💜🦋💜🦋💜 If you have severe fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue like I do, it is a good idea to keep a diary. Note down any changes in symptoms and look at what you have done in the past few days that may have triggered a flare or in some cases what do you have coming up in your future that is causing your body to flare . It works both ways . Try one of my go to relaxation remedies for sleep that I have posted earlier . I am finding a hot hot bath with Epsom salts and lavender oil is getting me at least relaxed enough where sleep is coming for a few hours at night. When I wasn’t on the protocol I rarely slept more than an hour at a time .
