O excesso de peso é considerado quando ultrapassa um padrão desejável a estatura do indivíduo. Atualmente de acordo com os autores Fisberg, (2005) Tirapegui, (2005) Alterio Fava Navarro (2007) Sousa Kling Navarro, (2007) a obesidade é considerada uma das doenças mais agravante da saúde pública. Sendo uma condição de gordura excessiva que pode ser generalizada ou localizada. O treinamento resistido (musculação) pode contribuir e influenciar nas modificações significativas tanto na força, quanto na composição corporal de homens e mulheres. Na pesquisa dos autores Togashi et al. (2009) eles perceberam que apos um protocolo de treinamento reaistido houve melhora da composição corporal, ou seja, causando um dano muscular induzido por um método de cargas decrescente sem intervalos. Os autores Trevasan Burini (2007) também compravaram que por meio do treinamento resistido, praticado 3x por semana houve modificações na composição corporal por um período de 16 semanas. O grupo obteve um ganho de 2kg de massa magra e a elevação de sua taxa metabólica de repouso 8,4%. Portanto, o treinamento resistido ou seja, musculação contribui sim com as modificações em relação a composição corporal. #testosterone: day 14 Content notice: boy #puberty is gross (pt 2) . . . . . . . Ass hair is itchy! 😭 No other major physical changes besides acne, though thankfully most of it is once again where the sun seldom shines. Been having a lot of #genderfeels, though. Last night I explained that I comport myself like a man & it's exhausting to constantly be subject to people's surprise at something shaped like a woman acting like a #masculine. My transition is as much about how others (especially partners) perceive me as it is about my inner identity. I look forward to #passing for male, though I worry I'll be subject to overt (even violent) homophobia. This weekend I tried out male #pronouns instead of my usual it/they. "It" is still my favorite but "he" feels right, too. I'm #grateful for the #gay #transmen in my life who've shown me I can transition & be lovable. one year ago, i decided to change my life. terrified of the potential health consequences associated with taking testosterone, i eventually concluded that the uncertainty was worth the risk. prior to starting T, i also had an ongoing internal debate about evolution, reproduction, and natural selection. although carrying a child has never been an option for me, i questioned whether i should compromise my reproductive organs. then there was the very real possibility of dating difficulties. as it turns out, people aren’t joking when they say that dating as a transgender individual is awkward and discouraging. so for months i dwelled in fear, calling myself “logical” for not starting hormones and feeling resentful because i was not born a cis male. one night, though, all of those fears transformed into voracity the realization that i deserve to be *myself*. thought process from that night: life is suffering and that is unavoidable, so we must decide for ourselves what is worth suffering for. striving for happiness 100% of the time will only leave us empty, so we should, therefore, embrace with open arms the wide range of emotions and experiences innate to human existence. “free will”, self-empowerment”, “vulnerability”: these three concepts have guided my transition. i don’t regret my decision to start testosterone, but mostly because it made my anxiety go away, hehe. #trans #ftm #testosterone #oneyearonT
