ACCOUNTABILITY. In an unprecedented turn of events, I did something I haven't done in ages... something that might actually resemble a workout! (Or, more like fitness play.) so I'm recording this momentous occasion for posterity. To help me stay consistent, I promise that I will post all my workouts here, through the end of the year. These are a few of my favourite things !! With possibly the most stressful year of my life right around the corner, I’m gonna do all I can to take care of myself. Even small things like putting on a face mask, making a pot of tea, playing with a snowglobe or eating some chocolate chip cookies can be the most effective tools in my self care arsenal. So best believe I’m gonna stock up for 2018 😅 Comment your favourite face mask !! I wanna try some new ones !!

NEGATIVITY Does all the bad things only happen to yourself? You see your friends, relatives, colleagues etc. moving on, they seem to have brilliant careers, getting married, having babies, going on holidays every month and so on. Other people lives are just so perfect, only if yours would be the same. You wake up everyday and simply don’t know what you’re doing wrong. Let me tell you something. Having a rough life and being unable to find focus is only a result of your own mindset. Being negative stops you from moving forward and find those opportunities that you are desperately looking for. Here’s some of the things you have to do to get out of the hole you’re in... 1. STOP focusing on other people. All you need to care about is your own self. Find all your energy and channel that into how to become a better person and what little steps you can take to get where you want. Baby steps. Baby steps is all you need. NB. Their lives are not that good as it looks anyway! 2. STOP avoiding human interaction. We all need each other. There are beautiful people out there and your own past should not reflect on anyone else. Learn to socialise and get involved in different kind of activities, you never know what opportunities you may find. 3. GET OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE. Grab a pen right now and make a list of all the things you hate. Be honest with yourself. Give yourself time and start ticking off one thing at a time. The feeling you will get is priceless and it will boost your confidence big time. 4. STOP saying I can’t. You can. Set your mindset so that ‘I can’ is the only thing that comes out of your mouth. Even if deep down you think that’s ridiculous. 5. STOP being too harsh on yourself. Give yourself time. Don’t stress over little things and put your heart into everything you do.
